I was considering just going to a store and buying men's tactical pants, but I decided to order women's online and I am sooooo glad I made that choice. These pants are tailored for a woman's body and they are very comfortable. They are exactly what I needed and I am considering ordering another pair so I don't have to wash them as often. Again, highly recommend them. They are great

So far, out of the package (I'm interested to see if they shrink any when washed) these pants fit great. They are an exact copy of the men's version with a shorter waist-to-crotch measurement that gives a more feminine look without the bagginess of the men's pants. However, they are not tight and do not come high up on the waist but rather sit on the hips which is nice. Also, the front pockets are deep like the men's instead of useless like most women's pant pockets. The hidden elastic in the waistband means you can sit and bend without discomfort, but the pants stay up otherwise. The unhemmed length is wonderful for those of us with long legs. It is also nice that they hid the magazine pockets inside the large cargo pockets so magazines (or gardening tools, or granola bars, or whatever) can be carried without bringing attention to them, and without them falling out when you sit down.
