Tactical Pants: Now in Engrish!!
As we were innocently browsing the web today, a way-awesome review of 5.11 Tactical Pants caught our eye. What was so attention-grabbing about this particular review? Well, it seems to be translated from another language or written by a person whose first language is definitely not English.
While being a full supporter of learning new languages, we couldn’t help but chuckle a little at this. It’s obvious that either 1.) The author isn’t a native English speaker; or 2.) It was written in another language and submitted to a translation site like Babblefish.com.
Basically, this is what the Internet deems as Engrish. This term, according to Wikipedia, is a non-standard variants of written English used in East Asian countries.
We just never knew tactical pants were so popular with people who also blog about about making money online, diet pills, insomnia, cheap flights, car seats, online dating … Hmm… we’ll let you draw your own conclusions on that one!
