TACTICAL PANTS NEWS
Your Resource for Everything Tactical Pants
While cops, border patrol and other public safety officials are commonly associated with tactical trousers, two kinds of tac pants enthusiasts are emerging from the woodwork.
According to AccurateShooter.com, both serious marksmen and motorcyclist can benefit from these practical, heavy-duty pants. And although some stop by the shooting range wearing typical cargos that hold more equipment than your standard pair of Levis, others are diving head first into real-deal tactical gear.
Marksmen
It’s no shocker that sharp shooters throughout the world benefit from slacks created for the gun-toting community. There are plenty of nooks and crannies for ear plugs, ammo magazines, log books and anything else to keep you on target. While cheaper cargos will keep some happy, the editor at AccurateShooter.com wrote that he found a better fit with military-style BDUs, finally settling on a pair of nine-pocket Propper tactical pants ($29.99).
Motorcyclists
With much less storage space than one of those soccer mom vans, bikers not only look cooler on the road, they have less baggage – literally. Tactical trousers appear to be one simple solution to this problem. Sure, you can invest in saddlebags or sissybar bags. However, nothing else has that get-up-and-go convenience. “I found the Propper tactical pants work well on a two-wheeler,” writes the editor at AccurateShooter.com. “The front slash pockets are not cut so low that I have to worry about stuff falling out when riding.”
