Tactical Chuck Taylors

When ITS Tactical’s Bryan spotted olive drab-colored Chuck Taylors at 2010 SHOT Show, it was love at first sight.

“There are thousands of color schemes Converse has produced over the years, but none that are truly tactical!” he proclaims on his blog.

Much to his surprise, the tactical Chucks showcased were never produced. A Converse customer service representative said they were just a one-off pair meant to gauge interest. Well, they certainly got the tactical community’s attention.

Bryan saw this as a call to action and immediately set up a petition to send to Converse. His goal: to collect 1,000 signatures. Currently, its garnered 649 supporters. Want to make these tactical Chucks a reality? Whip out your virtual pen, and sign here.
