Canvas is the original. The fabric that started the tactical pants phenomenon. A full bodied cotton or poly cotton blend, original weight fabric is typically 8.0 - 8.5 oz per square yard. Suited for temperate and colder climates, the original weight is ideally suited to stand up to the rigors of duty use. For long term durability and cool weather, this is the fabric of choice.
